Students Β· Study Question Log

Catch the question you couldn't answer, to revisit.

Who this is for

Students who want a running list of exactly what they don't understand, so their weak spots get addressed instead of forgotten.

The moment this saves you

I study, hit something confusing, think I'll figure that out later, and later never comes, so the exact thing I didn't understand is the question that gets me on the exam.

See it work

Messy spoken thought in. A clean, structured artifact out.

What you said

Study questions I'm stuck on for the bio exam. I don't understand the difference between mitosis and meiosis well enough, I always mix up which one makes the gametes, need to nail that down. Second thing, the whole Krebs cycle, I can recite it but I don't actually understand why it produces the energy it does, that's a conceptual gap not a memorization one. And I'm confused about how natural selection and genetic drift differ, they seem similar to me, want to ask the TA about that one specifically. The Krebs one is the most important since it's worth a lot on the exam.

To review (conceptual gaps)

  • Mitosis vs meiosis, which one produces gametes? (keep mixing them up)
  • Krebs cycle, can recite it but don't understand why it yields the energy it does (priority, heavily weighted on the exam)

To ask the TA

  • How do natural selection and genetic drift actually differ? (they seem similar)

The prompt behind this context

system prompt

I'm going to talk through the things I don't understand while studying. Turn it into a dated study-question log: a bold "Study questions, [today's date]" heading, then group items into bold sections by what to do: **To review (conceptual gaps)** and **To ask the TA / instructor**, based on what I say about each. Phrase each as the specific question or gap, keeping my own framing of the confusion. Flag anything I call high-priority or heavily weighted. Don't invent questions or answers. Output only the log.
