Request Account Deletion
Submit a request to permanently delete your Contextli account and all associated data. We will process your request within 30 days.
How to request account deletion from Contextli
Contextli is published by Ertiqah. Follow the steps below to submit your request. If you cannot use the form, you can also email us at support@contextli.com with the same information.
- Enter the email address associated with your Contextli account in the form below.
- Provide an email where we can send our confirmation (this can be the same address).
- Briefly tell us why you are requesting deletion. This helps us verify the request.
- Submit the form. You will receive a confirmation email, and your account and associated data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
What data is deleted
- The email address you signed up with.
- The anonymized username automatically assigned to your account.
- If you enabled Cloud Sync: any recordings and transcriptions stored on our servers so they could be accessed across your devices.
What data is not stored on our servers
- If Cloud Sync is not enabled, your recordings and transcriptions remain only on your own device. Contextli never receives them, so there is nothing for us to delete on our side. You can remove them directly from the app on your device.
- Billing information (card details, billing address, invoice history) is held by our payment processor, Stripe, and is not stored on Contextli servers. On request, we will ask Stripe to delete your customer record, subject to any legal obligations Stripe has to retain transaction records for tax and accounting purposes.
Retention period
Contextli does not keep a separate retention window. Once your request is processed, the data listed above is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days. We do not retain anonymized copies, and we do not keep the deleted data in long-term backups beyond that period.
